We are a JCAHO certified Office-Based Surgery Center
The physicians of Manhattan Colorectal Surgeons are pleased to announce that their colonoscopy suite, the Manhattan Colorectal Surgical Unit, located within the office premises, is accredited as an office-based surgery center by JCAHO, the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. JCAHO certification recognizes facilities that have met rigorous standards of patient safet and quality assurance. JCAHO conducts periodic surveys and inspections of its accredited facilities to assure ongoing complicance with its high standards. JCAHO certification also meets New York State's requirement that all offices in which procedures are performed be certified by July 2010.
